Love Is God Month 2nd Day Meditation

Sometimes we get sidetracked and even feeling self condemnation because of the Biblical do’s and don’t s. I’ve often heard some saying there’s no way of living up to the standards of the Love Chapter of 1 Corinthians 13.

It is because God is Love and he loves us with the kind of love spoken of here in 1 Corinthians Chapter 13, that we can relax and stop trying so hard.

When we accept and receive God’s love personally, and live with that love day to day then our natural response becomes one of love.

As we live in God’s agape love we have less desire to come into strife, envying or boasting, when the opportunity arises. Why? Because we are loved and we know it. We know God’s got our back and we know he will provide. We feel more patience, more kindness, and giving, rather than grabbing and clawing at life.

How do we get there? How do we receive God’s love. First we accept it. If we’re Christian’s we’ve already accepted God by faith. Still walking in that Love happens as we commune with God, spending time with God. Some find that old fashioned or maybe too time consuming. It’s as easy as talking to yourself only way better. 😊

Speak the scriptures to yourself, quietly or out loud when you can. Let them sink into your mind and heart. Do it as you go through your day. Start here with the love Chapter during this month of love and Valentine’s Day.

It’s where you’ll find peace and calm. In fact, when you hashtag Biblical Meditation calm is right smack dab in the center or the words #biblicalmeditation. Or calmed.

You’ll find peace because peace only comes where there is True Love. And True Love is God.

Got questions or rebuttals to these ideas. Go to God. Ask Him. He’ll give you an answer that will not only calm, it will amaze.
