My classes through the years marketed as 'yoga' have always been infused with the Pilates principles. Most especially the principle of "Centering".  Centering focuses on our deep abdominal muscles giving us core strength.  

Today I teach what I call Gentle Flow Pilates.  It is very similar to my past classes, with a bit more focus for even better benefit.  We use the Pilates Principles and move through a  sequence of stretches that promote ease of movement and mobility.  We then strengthen and realiagn our bodies preparing our bodies for movement.  Relaxed, ease of movement, that is not strained, not stressful, not limited.  Rather we now are stronger, with joints that feel free to move without pain or limitations.  

This session supports all the activites we want to enjoy, whether it's sports, or simply daily activities, or our workouts, like weight lifting, dance fitness.   This is a foundational fitness activity that supports all other activites so that we may continue to enjoy the things we love to do.
